Internships for Students with LD/ADHD Eastern Alliance in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (EAST) promotes the participation of individuals with disabilities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics academic programs and careers. EAST works in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
The Workforce Recruitment Program for College Students with Disabilities (WRP) is a resource to connect public and private sector employers nationwide with highly motivated postsecondary students and recent graduates with disabilities who are eager to prove their abilities in the workforce. Employers seek to fill both temporary and permanent positions in a variety of fields.
ENTRY POINT! is a program of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) offering outstanding internship opportunities for students with disabilities in science, engineering, mathematics, computer science, and some fields of business. To meet the challenge of the competitive global economy in the new millennium, private industry and government research agencies must expand the pool of technical talent.
The American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) is the largest national nonprofit cross-disability member organization in the United States, dedicated to ensuring economic self-sufficiency and political empowerment for the more than 50 million Americans with disabilities. AAPD works in coalition with other disability organizations for the full implementation and enforcement of disability nondiscrimination laws, particularly the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
Designed and funded by Microsoft, and administered by the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD), a cross-disability organization with more than 90,000 members, the Microsoft-AAPD Federal IT Internship Program provides college students with disabilities paid summer internships at U.S. government agencies. The internships enable the students to hone their IT skills while gaining valuable work experience.

The Motivating Undergraduates in Science and Technology Project, or MUST, funded by the NASA, is a joint partnership between the Hispanic College Fund, the United Negro College Fund Special Programs and the Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers. Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Established in 1986, the CBCF Congressional Internship Program answered the call to help diversify our democracy by increasing the pool of talented public servants. The intensive nine-week program provides college undergraduates with a behind-the-scenes look into the democratic process. Through experiential learning in the office of a Congressional Black Caucus Member, the internship prepares interns to be decision makers in the policy making process.
