Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is the cornerstone of all fundraising efforts at Landmark College.

Foundations, corporations, and other potential friends of the College are more likely to support Landmark College if they see a thriving Annual Fund. Your participation builds momentum — your gift is likely to help generate support from individuals who respect and value your opinion.

Unlike other forms of giving, the full value of the Annual Fund can be used immediately — wherever it is most needed. In FY 2008, Annual Fund giving totaled $509,684, which was equivalent to the income generated by an endowment of nearly $10,000,000.

This remarkable support is a testament to the commitment of our loyal "universe of friends" who believe in the mission of Landmark College. A successful Annual Fund is essential, especially for a young college, without a significant endowment. The Annual Fund gives us the ability to:

• Increase scholarships for deserving students
• Attract and retain gifted faculty
• Advance our technological infrastructure
• Develop new academic initiatives
• Update laboratory equipment

• Expand library resources

• Maintain and enhance campus facilities

Special Issues for Landmark College

Fully 95% of Landmark College's annual operating revenues are derived from tuition.  Increasing our philanthropic base is, therefore, a priority. Any college that is only two decades old faces enormous challenges in building its Annual Fund to meaningful levels. Our alumni are strong supporters, but they are still young and building their careers; unable to provide the financial support that most colleges rely upon.
