Attention
Although a beautiful and exotic place, Costa Rica is home to creatures, such as the scorpion, venomous and non-venomous snakes, tarantulas, etc. We may encounter these and other wildlife, like monkeys, iguanas, etc. Some of the lodging may be rustic and very different to that which you are accustomed.
If you have challenges with sleep, rustic living conditions, encountering insects and animals, or have any questions about Costa Rica, contact the country director BEFORE you apply.
