Putney, VT. - February 5, 2004 - Landmark College has announced plans
to offer an Associate of Arts degree in Business Studies beginning in
September 2004.
Students enrolled in the program will take courses in Accounting, Marketing,
Finance, Economics, and Business Education in addition to core courses
in English and Humanities. The program will also include courses with
a focused curricular emphasis such as Writing for Business and Business
Communications.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of internships
and interact with business leaders who will be invited to the Landmark
campus as part of the program’s speakers’ series.
Academic Dean John Kipp remarked, “The addition of a business
degree reflects Landmark’s vision and our commitment to offer relevant
educational options to our students. It also is the
first, of what is expected to be, many new degree concentrations.”
Landmark College, located in Putney, VT, offers the most comprehensive
academic program in the country for high potential students with learning
disabilities and attention deficit disorders.
