Linda
Hecker, Director of Educational Services, The National Institute at Landmark
College, will be making three presentations at the European
Council of International Schools (ECIS) Conference in Hamburg, Germany on November
20 – 23th.
Her
presentations, all under the heading of Meeting The Needs
of Diverse Learners in the Secondary Classroom will
include: Study Smarter, Not
Harder: The Master Notebook System; Universal Design:
Effective Classroom Practices for Diverse Learners and;
Disability Support: Picking the Right
College for You.
ECIS is a not-for-profit membership
organization with, 436 member schools, the purpose
of which is to promote excellent
international
education through the provision of high quality
services to individuals and to groups within its constituency.
More than 4000 participants are
expected to attend and participate in the 340 sessions
and other events during the four conference days.
