PUTNEY, VT—November 13, 2003—Poet Wyn Cooper will be reading
selections from his poetry accompanied by musicians
Ben Mitchell and Charlie Schneeweiss at Landmark College's Greenhoe Theater in the Fine Arts Building on Wednesday, December
10 at 7:30 p.m.
Cooper is best known for his poem “Fun,” which
was turned into Sheryl Crow’s Grammy award winning song, “All
I Wanna Do.” His most recent work is Forty Words for Fear, a cd
of songs based on his poems and lyrics, set to music by novelist Madison
Smartt Bell. He has published three collections of poems, and has a fourth
book coming out from BOA Editions in 2005. His poems are included in
20 anthologies of contemporary poetry, and in more than 50 magazines.
