Our specialized approach to education and high standards of performance are undeniably labor-intensive and costly. But our students and their families believe that the achievements they reach speak to the value of their investment.

Landmark's financial aid packages typically consist of a mix of state and federal grants and loans, as well as college scholarship support of up to $25,000.

The following page provides details on sources of aid. For priority consideration, families interested in receiving financial assistance are encouraged to complete the financial aid process as soon as possible.

Landmark College Scholarships

  • Landmark College Scholarship
    Scholarship awards range from $5,000 to $25,000 and are typically based on financial need. These awards are limited and students are encouraged to apply early.
  • Landmark College Recognition Scholarship
    Students are recognized for their individual and distinct talents. This merit based scholarship requires the student to demonstrate thier uniqueness as a person. The first round of consideration for this scholarship will be April 15, 2008.

    Awards can range from $5,000 to10,000. To be considered for a Recognition Scholarship, complete the scholarship application and submit to the financial aid office.

  • Endowment Scholarships
    Over 10 scholarships are awarded to students who have proven financial need, and other specific requirements. Awards can range from $500 to $8,000.

Federal Grants

  • Federal Pell Grant
    This grant is based on your family's income and assets. Annual awards range from $400 to $4,700. The student must meet all eligibility requirements. The amount of the grant is divided equally among the semesters attended.
  • Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
    This grant is awarded to students entering in the fall, with exceptional financial need. The annual award is $2,000. The student must meet all eligibility requirements.

Vocational Rehabilitation Grants

  • State governments provide funds through vocational rehabilitation grants for people with disabilities pursuing postsecondary education. The amount of the grant varies by state, and can be received for any semester. We would be happy to send you a publication about these grants, entitled Vocational Rehabilitation Services: Consumer Guide for Postsecondary Students [pdf] (Heath Resources, 1996).

Student Employment

Some of our students are able to supplement their income and reduce costs by finding employment during their enrollment.

Federal Work Study Program

This grant provides part-time employment opportunities for students with financial need. The average award is $1,000 for the academic year. Typical jobs include office assistant, bookstore cashier, library assistant, peer tutor, gym manager and building manager.

College Work Program

Limited on-campus employment opportunities are available for students without demonstrated financial need.

Loans

Federal Stafford Loan

A low-interest loan for students, with annual loan limits of $3,500 for a freshman and $4,500 for a sophomore. Independent students may borrow an additional $4,000, annually.

Federal PLUS Loan

A low-interest loan for parents of a dependent student. A parent may borrow the entire cost of the educational expenses, minus other financial aid.

Private Educational Loan

An educational loan available to students who are in need of additional funds to cover the remaining cost of education.

Landmark College's tuition and fees may qualify as a medical tax deduction. IRS publications 907 and 502 offer information about medical expenses. In addition to tuition and fees, other costs such as books, notebook computers and other educational related expenses may be tax deductible. We recommend that you consult your tax advisor about these options.

Potential Private Scholarships

Monthly Payment Plan
This payment plan allows you to budget the annual Landmark College tuition and housing fees over 8-10 months. There are no interest charges, and a low enrollment fee. Your monthly payments begin 3-4 months before the semester starts. To enroll in the monthly payment plan, contact TuitionPay. This payment plan is not available for the summer session.

Major Credit Card
You may also use a major credit card to pay for College costs.

Applying for Financial Aid

Start the financial aid application process now. Please follow the steps below. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (link will open in a new window). Landmark College Title IV Code is # 017157

Students must be accepted to the College before a Financial Aidaward is determined.  Contact the Admissions Office to check your application status.

The Financial Aid Office will begin processing financial aid awards in mid-March and continue on a rolling basis until all funds are awarded.
