Landmark College believes that access to online collaboration is crucial to the learning experience in and out of the classroom. The College provides many online tools to enhance and support student learning.
Email
All students are provided with Landmark College e-mail accounts - usually prior to their arrival on campus. Students use e-mail to communicate with faculty, staff, and other students and are expected to check their e-mail on a regular basis.
The College uses the Novell Groupwise e-mail and collaboration system. The e-mail system is accessible on the Internet from off-campus via Groupwise WebAccess.
IQWeb
IQWeb enables students to access the College’s course catalog, their current course schedule, mid-term and final grades, and unofficial transcripts.
ISIS
The Internet Student Information System, or ISIS, is used by students, instructors, advisors, and deans to track students’ academic progress on an on-going basis. ISIS includes information on grades, assignments, attendance, instructor comments, support center visits, and more.
Online Course Management
Landmark College uses Moodle course management system to supplement classroom teaching in many courses. Depending on the course, Moodle is used to post course syllabus, assignments, reference materials, and podcasts as well as to collaborate with the instructor and other students using wikis, forums, and chats.
Support
All of the College’s E-Mail and Intranet resources are fully supported by the Information Technology Services department. To learn more, contact Technical Support Services (the Help Desk) at ext. 6800, Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
