Take a Different Path...at Landmark College.

When you think about it, everyone recognizes that people are different from each other. Not everyone listens to the same music. Not everyone appreciates the same art. Not everyone is good at the same sport.

AND not everyone learns the same way!

Fully Accredited

Our programs are specially designed for a particular audience. Therefore, it is critically important to us – and to you – that we meet the same rigorous requirements as every other reputable degree-granting institution. Landmark College is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

Our Integrated Approach

While many colleges offer special programs for students with learning difficulties, Landmark College is one of the only accredited colleges in the United States designed exclusively for students with dyslexia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD), or other specific learning disabilities.

Why does Landmark's approach succeed? Because we take a different path. We teach the skills and strategies necessary for success in college and the workforce. Here at Landmark, you learn how to learn, and this knowledge helps you become more confident and independent.

Students at Landmark get far more personal, directed assistance than at other colleges. Each student receives individualized attention from classroom instructors — in courses tailored to meet your educational needs. We have courses for skills development, college credit, and an Associate Degree Program for individuals who have average — to superior — intellectual potential. Our experienced advisors meet frequently with you to review and guide your progress. All instructors are trained professional educators, not teaching assistants or peer tutors.

Growth and Discovery

Your time at Landmark College is a time of exploration and learning. A time for you to discover your own personal strengths and abilities. A time for you to grow into your full potential.

It's also a time to make friends, discover talents, and explore interests. The College offers you a wide variety of sports and social activities, both on our beautiful wooded campus and in the surrounding community.

Landmark College is located in southeastern Vermont. In summer and spring, you can hike, run, mountain bike and swim. In winter, students find an atmosphere perfect for downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, and winter camping. For those who prefer something more urban, Boston is 2-1/2 hours away by car and New York City is only 4-1/2 hours.

In addition to athletics, activities, and all the off-campus resources of beautiful New England, an important aspect of student life at Landmark College is life in the residence halls. If you choose to live on campus, along with social and educational programs, you'll develop a strong sense of community. There's a true commitment to learning — inside and outside of the classroom. Student development professionals also live in each residence hall.

The Next Step

Students at Landmark College learn how to balance academics and social lives. They learn to access the tools they need for success in college, graduate school, and the workforce in the real world. And you can join them.

Take a step onto a different path.... one that leads to success. Contact us today, then come visit Landmark College.

"Our students aren't empty vessels that we fill with information. We look at an individual, assess his or her strengths and weaknesses, and develop methods that work for that student."

- Mike Hutcheson, Chair, Department of Humanities
