Try a Subject Guide Search and use the Subdivisions to narrow your topic.
- Hint: Use only one very broad term Example: Genius
- Add additional terms in the Search box on the left side of the screen.

OR

Try an Advanced Search and search for terms in the Abstract field.
- Hint: use the pull down menu.
- Search for more than one term at a time.

Put each term on a different line.

Academic Search Premier

Scholarly articles from journals and magazines. Includes book reviews.

Type in a broad topic, add "AND" and an aspect of the subject that interests you.
Use "quoation marks" to search for phrases.
- Example: "multiple intelligence" AND children
  - Once you have a results list, Narrow By Subject.
- Choose Academic Journals to eliminate magazine articles.
